Jan 14, 2015 Focus: Less is more
I have found this short list of tips to be very helpful when establishing and accomplishing goals each year. These guidelines are also relevant for defining meeting and event frameworks and goals. I start by asking: what will make the most difference to the company’s results? With that framework in mind, I consider the following:
– Less is more: Choose 3-5 major things that will make the biggest difference to your organization
– Spend 90% of your energy moving the above forward
– Focus your attention on what is most important, relevant, and meaningful
Finally, ask your self this question: what behaviors do you need to encourage if your are going to meet your objectives? To support successful outcomes, you need to keep this top of mind.
